River & Rail Theatre Company
Knoxville, TN 37902
"The Unusual Tale of Mary & Joseph's Baby"- meant for the virgin-believing and non-virgin-believing alike, this musical dares to take the nativity story at it's word with whimsy, humor, and humanity. There really was a pregnant virgin. There really were shepards, angels, and foreign dignitaries. There's no room at the inn, and there's an oppressive empire whose menacing shadow hangs over everything.
