DESCRIPTION

The Winnipesaukee Playhouse in Meredith, NH is looking to hire a director and non-union actors for The Mountaintop by Katori Hall. The production will be live on our outdoor stage and precautions for staff, actors, and audience will be adhered to as directed by the CDC and the State of New Hampshire.  

Rehearsals begin Monday, August 31st.  Performances finish Sunday, September 27th.
All positions are paid and include housing and utilities. 

The Mountaintop is a play by American playwright Katori Hall. It is a fictional depiction of Martin Luther King Jr.'s last night on earth set entirely in Room 306 of the Lorraine Motel on the eve of his assassination in 1968.

Male to play Martin Luther King Jr. at age 39. 
Female (20s-30s) to play an angel posing as the hotel maid
