Seeking an Organized and Detail-Oriented Leader to take over the role of Box Office Manager for Brass Jar Productions, producer of Drunk Shakespeare Off-Broadway and in Chicago.
~ Weekly Administration work involving: maximizing ticket sales, box office/ticketing, capacity management, ticket allocation, working with resellers, answering customer emails, and organizing social media campaigns.
~ Manager will run front of house check-in and customer ticket Will-Call pickup
The ideal candidate is thorough and comfortable working with numbers. They should have experience in administration, ideally with prior experience in data entry and/or box office work. We’re seeking a self-starter candidate to fully take ownership of Box Office Administration tasks, and establish systems for long term success.
Candidate should be interested in developing a relationship with our productions, so they can provide exemplary customer service.
Box Office Manager will also assist with marketing and social media tasks, so please highlight prior experience with Brand Representation/Marketing.
TYPICAL WORK HOURS:
Approximately 40 Hours per week.
Box Office Manager work is done at the venue (570 10th ave, on 42nd street), roughly 8 hours a day with 2 days off per week. Schedule varies weekly and days off are flexible, but Fridays and Saturdays are critical work days.
Self Discipline and the ability to keep track of multiple tasks is required
$1100/week, salaried position.
