Jack Zink, South Florida Entertainment Critic and Columnist, Dies at 61

Jack Zink, a major voice in South Florida entertainment coverage for more than three decades, died Aug. 18 from cancer. He was 61, and most recently served as the theatre and classical music critic and cultural affairs writer for The South Florida Sun-Sentinel in Fort Lauderdale.

Eleanore Reznikoff, Theatre Producer, Dies at 57

Eleanore Reznikoff, a theatre producer who later became a film marketing and advertising executive, died Aug. 9 in Los Angeles, Variety reported. She was 57.



George Furth, Librettist for Company, Dies at 75
12 Aug 2008 -- George Furth, a playwright and actor who made his lasting contribution to the American theatre through two collaborations with composer Stephen Sondheim, the musicals Company and Merrily We Roll Along, died Aug. 10 in Santa Monica, CA.

Terence Rigby, Stage Actor of Sinister Stillness, Dies at 71
11 Aug 2008 -- Terence Rigby, the British actor adept at playing villains, and who embodied ambiguous menace in several plays by Harold Pinter, died of lung cancer Aug. 10. He was 71.
