By Andrew Gans
27 Oct 2004

Jenn Colella, who co-starred in the short-lived Broadway musical Urban Cowboy, will go it solo at the Ars Nova Nov. 7.

Directed by Lonny Price, the 8 PM evening is titled Jen Colella: The Girl Behind the Bull. Tom Kitt is the musical director for the one-night-only concert, which will feature tunes from Colella's roles in Urban Cowboy, The Great American Trailer Park, Heartland and the forthcoming Kitt-Amanda Green musical High Fidelity.

Jenn Colella made her Broadway debut in Urban Cowboy, earning an Outer Critics Circle Award nomination for her performance. She was recently seen as Pippi, the kleptomaniac stripper in the NYMF hit The Great American Trailer Park. Colella's other theatrical credits include roles in Peter Pan, Angels in America, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Company, Sylvia and Victor/Victoria.

The Ars Nova Theater is located in Manhattan at 511 West 54th Street. Call (212) 868-4444 for $15 tickets or go to www.SmartTix.com.
