Anything Goes to Follow My Fair Lady into London's Drury Lane

By Paul Webb
04 Aug 2003

There's just one month left to see the hit revival of My Fair Lady at the Drury Lane Theatre.

Trevor Nunn's production of My Fair Lady, which started at the National Theatre and then transferred to the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, ends its run at Aug. 30.

The production is a particularly lavish one and has choreography by Matthew Bourne. The current cast, headed by Anthony Andrews as Henry Higgins and Laura Michelle Kelly as Eliza, with Russ Abbot as her father, received rave reviews when they opened a few months ago, but Sir Cameron Mackintosh, the show's producer, decided to close the production while it was still on a high.

Anything Goes — another production that began life at the National — begins previews at the Drury Lane Sept. 24.
