The new ABC comedy “It’s All Relative” — starring John Benjamin Hickey, Chris Sieber and Harriet Harris — will be part of the upcoming 2003-04 TV season.

Variety reports that the situation comedy by Ann Flett-Giordano, Neil Meron, Chuck Ranberg and Craig Zadan will air on the ABC network in the fall. "It's All Relative" will be broadcast 8:30-9 PM Wednesday evenings.

According to an ABC press statement, the show concerns Bobby, a bartender, “the only son of gregarious, salt-of-the-earth Irish Catholic parents from Boston. His fiancée, Liz, is a toney Harvard student and she's Protestant (no, that's not the problem). Liz has two dads, not one, and they're a worldly pair of well-heeled gay men.”

John Benjamin Hickey — of Love! Valour! Compassion! fame — and Into the Woods' Chris Sieber star as the gay couple. Reid Scott portrays Bobby and Maggie Lawson is fiancée Liz. The cast also includes Thoroughly Modern Millie Tony winner Harriet Harris, Lenny Clarke and Paige Moss. Producers are Touchstone/Paramount/Storyline.
