Manhattan Theatre Club (MTC), a Tony Award-winning nonprofit theatre dedicated to the production of contemporary plays and musicals, seeks efficient, detail oriented, problem solver for Subscriber Services Department. Reporting to the Director of Subscriber Services, the Manager will be the key ticketing systems administrator in the Subscriber Services Department.
The candidate will be instrumental in designing and programming subscription packages in the Tessitura ticketing software, setting up price maps, price types, MOS designations, ticket designs, seat maps, maintaining data fields through System Tables and diagnosing/fixing problems. The candidate will help build the rollover campaign by building performances, setting up subscription package grid, programming packages, setting up and performing rollovers for seasonal invoices (including non-package holding subscribers), releasing unsold reservations, printing season tickets, as well as maintenance of database and general ledger accounts.
Additional day-to-day duties include answering the hotline, processing subscription and exchange orders and selling single tickets, as well as supervising and assisting subscriber services staff with internal and/or related customer service issues, and providing reports for Directors of Subscriber Services and Marketing.
The candidate will also confer with other departments on hold code procedures, sales policies/issues, reporting practices/issues and assist the other departments and the Friedman Theatre Box Office about software, reports, and sub services procedures as needed.
REQUIREMENTS: Ideal candidate should have several years of box office/subscription office experience and complete proficiency with the Tessitura ticketing software. Excellent customer service skills, a strong attention to detail, and innovative thinking are required. Proficiency with Excel is required. It is important that the candidate can work well under pressure in a deadline, detailed-oriented environment.
