THE ARACA GROUP, a theatrical producing and live event merchandising company, is seeking full-time and part-time interns for the upcoming spring term. This is a great opportunity for college students, recent graduates, or graduate students to get hands-on experience in commercial theatre and live event merchandising and retail, under the guidance of experienced professionals. We offer a small stipend and college credit, if applicable. The following positions are available:

Theatre/Merchandise Office Interns (4 positions available)

This position will provide administrative support to The Araca Group in the departments of business affairs, theatrical development, and merchandise design/inventory/operations/retail sales, as well as general office assistance. The ideal candidates will have a background and interest in theatre, literature, merchandise, fashion, retail, and/or business, law. Strong written and oral communication and organizational skills required. Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs required.

Duties include:

• Assisting with projects, workshops and clerical duties
• Answering the phone and running errands
• Performing internet research
• Creating organizational charts and systems
• Reading scripts, attending readings and writing coverage
