Seeking highly comedic musical theater performers/character actors/singers who can bring the house down for workshop of a new musical comedy. (If you can’t see yourself on Saturday Night Live or Forbidden Broadway please do not apply) Runs Dec. 11 & 12.

Seeking:
DAISY - Arthur Murray dance graduate-turned stripper when life served her up a bad dish, a Brooklyn-esque Marilyn Monroe with all the right curves and moves, late 20s-30s,Sing Jazz, blues etc.(high C belt)
THE MOBSTER: a low class mobster in a high class suit. Good looking in a tough guy way. Think Guys and Dolls thick, mobster accent. Must be a great singer - Sinatra style etc.
THE NERD/SWINGER - a nerdy square who later transforms into a more confident swinger. Think Matthew Broderick in the producers, (Broadway character voice, tenor, ability to croon or contemporary voice a plus) late 20s-30s
THE WIFE - attractive - high comedic skills. The all-American housewife of American 50s/60s sitcoms, must transform from conservative uptight to very sexy (high C/D belt) late 20s-30s
THE COMEDIC BEST FRIEND- larger-than-life next door neighbor and husbands' best friend, pushy comedic schemer a la John Candy, Jackie Gleeson (character voice) 30’s
THE WEALTHY LATIN PLAYBOY, the fiery Latin lover swinging playboy, cross the charm of Antonio Banderas with the fiery temper of Jason Alexander (strong rock/ r&b belt) 30’s early forties
THE BIG MAMA" "big mama man magnet with big attitude", Aretha Franklin/ Belting Blues/Jazz style voice, Sexy big mama.
THE DRAG QUEEN ( faithful comedic Latin sidekick, dancing teacher and fulltime drag queen, think Carmen Miranda feel) .
THE OLDER MISTRESS - wealthy socialite, a al Bette Davis, can play late 50s,
SUSIE Q - Sexy performer - Black version of Marilyn Monroe. Great Blues- Jazz singer who can also sing contemporary a la Beyoncee etc
THE EMCEE- Think R&B cool cat black crooner in a tux.
