Description
|
The prime objectives of the workshop are to dispel the many myths about Shakespeare’s inaccessibility and display his ability to be a great ensemble playwright. Anatol and Francesco’s eclectic training & experience has afforded them unique insight into to how to bring truth, clarity and ease to this great work. So that the word becomes the actor's friend not their enemy. Though scholars and academics have inadvertently clouded Shakespeare’s work with intellectual complexity, Francesco & Anatol will remind you that Shakespeare was an actor. These plays are as ‘actor friendly’ as any written.
The workshop will focus on scene work from two of Shakespeare's major works:
Romeo and Juliet and Othello. Major speeches in Hamlet will also be addressed.
