Transport Group Theatre Company, a Drama Desk and Obie award winning Off-Broadway company, is seeking a non-AEA male actor for the role of Cowboy in its upcoming revival of Mart Crowley's The Boys in the Band. Rehearsals begin January 12, and performances run Feb. 12 - March 14. Director Jack Cummings III is seeking a male actor who is in his early 20s, very handsome, hunky, sexy, medium height to tall, and masculine to play a 1968 NYC hustler.
Please send hard copies of headhshot, resume, and if possible (not required) a full body shot (informal pictures will do) to Alan Filderman Casting, 333 West 39th Street, Room 601, NY, NY 10018. On envelope, please mark "Boys--Cowboy." The actor will receive travel reimbursement for the entire rehearsal process and run of the show.
