Description JOB CODE: NYORD-100507 New York, NY Full-Time

Samuel French, Inc., a theatrical play publishing and licensing company since 1830 located in Manhattan, is hiring an Order/Customer Service Associate with the ability to work in a fast-paced office handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a professional and courteous manner. You will assist customers and help them with their varied requests and issues.

Responsibilities will include:

Provide timely and accurate processing of website, phone and fax orders.
Contact customers when they have pending order because of overdue balance on account.
Processing script returns and issuing credit memos.
Answering seasonally heavy phone calls.
Work with royalty, accounting and musical departments to resolve customer issues.

Candidates must be able to multi-task, give strong and precise follow through, have excellent written and oral communication skills, and have the ability to prioritize work.

In addition, applicants must be dependable team players with a strong work ethic, be accurate and detail-oriented and have computer experience (including Word, Excel and Outlook). Theatre and/or arts background is a plus.
