Great singers are a dime a dozen in this town. Joanna Gleason has proven time and again that, in addition to vocal chops, the delicate art of delivering a song is what catapults a performer to musical theater stardom. Before you empty your wallet for another routine voice lesson, consider a different approach to the material you sing. This workshop offers constructive insight into text, context, and subtext – providing the dramatic backbone necessary to turn a good performance into a great one.
- ONE WORKSHOP LEFT - Saturday, November 7, 11am-2pm
- One-on-one instruction from one of Broadway’s legendary leading ladies, Joanna Gleason (Into the Woods, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels)
- Just $150 for a three-hour intensive seminar in the intimate, welcoming setting of Primary Stages Studios
- Bring two musical theater ballads or standards, MEMORIZED. No jazz or rock!
- Bring sheet music! An accompanist will be provided and can transpose music if needed.
