Paper Mill Playhouse, a not-for-profit theatre in Millburn, NJ seeks a Groups Sales Manager skilled in both target marketing and customer service. Job includes research and relationship-building of new group markets, such as senior, student and corporate groups as well as contacts within the travel and tourism industry. Customer Group Sales Manager oversees the full-time Group Sales Coordinator and a part-time Group Sales Associate.
All applicants must possess an out-going personality, an aggressive sense of salesmanship, work well in a team environment, and possess the ability to create and execute a comprehensive group marketing plan. Job requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent plus formal educational experience, proficient knowledge of standard computer programs and the ability to learn specialized programs such as computerized ticketing systems. The Group Sales Manager position requires frequent travel to local tradeshows and national conferences and conventions.
