Based on the Reese Witherspoon film, Legally Blonde The Musical earned seven Tony nominations and ten Drama Desk Award nominations during its Broadway run. In London Sheridan Smith leads the cast of Legally Blonde The Musical, playing Elle Woods. Smith is joined in the cast of Legally Blonde The Musical by former member of boy band Blue, Duncan James. The London production of Legally Blonde The Musical is directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell, who also performed this dual role for the Broadway production.
