Matt Doyle — who will co-star in the upcoming Broadway revival of Bye Bye Birdie and who returns to Joe's Pub Aug. 27 — fills out Playbill.com's questionnaire with random facts, backstage trivia and pop culture tidbits.

Full given name: Matthew Finnen Doyle
Hometown: I lived all over the place growing up: Manchester, MA; Weston, CT; and San Francisco, CA.
Special skills: I'm an advanced certified scuba diver! I can also bend my fingers in all sorts of crazy ways. It's not pretty.
First Broadway show ever saw: Rent. Twelve years ago.
If you could go back in time and catch any Broadway show, what would it be? The original West Side Story.
Current show you have been recommending to friends: Hair. Go see it.
Favorite show tune: "How Glory Goes" from Floyd Collins.
Most played song on your iPod: "Make You Feel My Love." The Adele version.
Web obsession: "Sleep Running Dog" on Youtube. It's pure gold.
Last book you read: "Anansi Boys" by Neil Gaiman
Last good movie you saw: "Up." I get very excited when a new Pixar movie comes out.
Favorite board game: Monopoly. All the way.
Performer you would drop everything to go see: Bill Irwin.
Pop culture guilty pleasure: "Faith" by George Michael. The entire album.
First stage kiss: Andrea Miller. We kissed in a production of Carousel I did when I was in ninth grade. I was Billy Bigelow, and she was Julie Jordan. The kiss was so awkward, our director set aside an extra half hour to rehearse it. I was mortified.
Favorite post-show meal: I like going home to make a big bowl of Annie's macaroni and cheese.
How you got your Equity card: Spring Awakening
Worst flubbed line/missed cue/onstage mishap: During my first week as Hanschen in Spring Awakening, I completely went up on my lines. After what felt like an hour of silence, I finally started improvising (trying to keep the classical tone... unsuccessfully) and got back on track. My poor scene partner (Blake Daniel) looked like he was about to have a heart attack.
Worst costume ever: I did a lot of clowning in school, and my clown's costume was pretty absurd. I wore a pair of ugly plaid shorts that were entirely too big, belted way above my belly button, fluorescent orange flip flops, and a tank top that was about three sizes too small with the words "yeah, rock" written across it. Oh, and a backwards newsboy cap to top it off.
Pet's name: I have a little dog whose name is Jacob. He's awesome.
Favorite junk food: Peanut M&Ms are incredible.
Who would play you in the movie? Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Only because I think he's cool.
Worst job you ever had: I tried to wait tables at an art fair in high school with some of my friends. We were outside in 98-degree heat wearing all black. Not only was I a terrible waiter, but also we only made money in tips... Nobody tips well at an art fair.
TV or commercial gig you most enjoyed: I have a pretty sweet gig on "Gossip Girl" as Jonathan, Eric Van Der Woodson's boyfriend.
Leading man role you've been dying to play: Romeo! Anywhere.
Which Bye Bye Birdie castmate is most obsessed with Twitter? They're all obsessed! I just recently started one because I felt so out of the loop. I'd probably say that (the immensely talented) Allie Trimm is the best at her 'tweeting.'
